Delete your AirConnect account

You can delete your AirConnect account, and the personal information linked to it, at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Delete it in the app
- Open AirConnect and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then Security.
- Tap Close my account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then tap Delete for ever.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out of every device.
Ask us by email
If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, email airconnect.team@gmail.com from the address you use for AirConnect, with the subject "Delete my AirConnect account". We will confirm the request is yours and complete it within 30 days.
Delete some of your data
You can remove some information without closing your account:
- Saved travellers: go to Profile, then Saved travellers, open the traveller and tap Remove this traveller. Their passport details are deleted with them.
- Profile photo: tap Change photo in Profile, then Remove photo.
- Recent searches: tap Clear next to Recent searches on the Home screen.
To have anything else deleted while keeping your account, email airconnect.team@gmail.com from the address you use for AirConnect and tell us what you want removed. We will complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted when you close your account
- Your sign in and your profile: name, email address, phone number, photo, date of birth and nationality
- Your saved travellers, including their passport details
- Your saved payment methods
- Your support conversations and any files you attached to them
- Your devices and notification settings
What is kept
If you have booked a flight with us, the booking itself is kept for as long as airlines and tax rules require travel and payment records to be held. It is no longer linked to you: your contact details and passport numbers are removed from it, and only the traveller names printed on the ticket remain.
If you have never booked, nothing is kept.
Before you delete
An account with a trip still ahead cannot be deleted, because the airline would have no way to reach you about it. Cancel the trip first, or wait until it is over.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you want to use AirConnect again later, you can create a new account.
